Clevedon, have your say: Drop In Event

Friday 30 October, 2.30-5.30pm

Clevedon District Centre

Two exciting local projects are moving closer to reality and the Franklin Local Board invites you to drop into the library this Friday and learn more.

  1. Clevedon Village Playground and Surrounds: Concept plans for the first stage of the Clevedon Village Heart Master Plan are now complete and include a new playground with dedicated areas for different age groups, public toilets (including a shower), an adjacent bike hub and car parking for 16 vehicles. An official consultation period is now underway, closing Monday 2 November.

  2. McNicol Road Trail: Detailed plans are now complete for the McNicol Road Trail, an off-road link between the village and the Tourist Road intersection along McNicol Road. The trail will link McNicol Homestead and the Clevedon Village Heritage Trail.  The Franklin Paths team are currently working to get the plans approved by AT with a view to confirming funding and construction timeframes next year (funding will be from the Franklin Paths Targeted Rate and is subject to Local Board approval).

Save the date: Franklin Local Board and Franklin Paths staff will have copies of both proposals at the Clevedon District Centre during library hours on Friday 30 October (2.30-5.30pm). Pop in to see the plans, ask questions and give feedback.

Can’t make it?
