Linda Ashley and graduates from AUT Bachelor of Dance Jane Carter, Aya Nakamura and Sean Papuni invite you to join them in a dance project, and have some fun dancing and performing.

The workshops are inclusive of ANY experience, ability or age from 11 years upwards. The movements will be made to suit your personal range. The dances will combine your ideas with ours on the theme of “Our Beach”.

We would love you to come along whether you have danced before or never, ever in your whole life. All we ask for is you to bring enthusiasm and together we can enjoy making a dance. Oh and please bring a large beach towel!

Linda has over thirty years of experience in making dances with a wide range of different people including professional dancers, teachers, very young children and older adults. She has a PhD from Auckland University and is the author of three internationally selling books about dance. She is co-ordinating and choreographing on this project as a consultant with ‘Dance Incorporated’.

Thanks to a grant from Auckland City Creative Communities these dance workshops in a relatively isolated part of the region are free.
