Clevedon School Pupils Beautify Clevedon

A group of pupils from Clevedon School have created a colourful mural depicting Clevedon, to help beautify the playground and public toilet area. The Manukau Beautification Trust provided the paints and materials, while the Clevedon Business Association provided the panels via Morton Timber.
The mural took several weeks to produce and was installed to coincide with Clevedon's RWC programme and the upgrade of the toilet facility.
"For visitors to the area, they would often ask the retailers where the public toilets were, now with the mural it's hard not to be drawn to the area by the artwork. We are very grateful to the school in helping us with this project" says Angela Fulljames, Chair of the Clevedon Business Association.
"The Franklin Board were swift to act at the Business Association's request to get the toilet block upgrade completed for the RWC and the busy summer season ahead. We'll continue to work with them to address other facilities that visitors use to ensure we present Clevedon at its best" says Angela.
